About Global Services
Depending on the resources available at the club in the country you’re visiting you may be entitled to a range of global services. At an absolute minimum, each club has agreed to provide a set of basic services for any foreign visitors who are members of FIA affiliated clubs:
- A dedicated contact centre the number of a permanently manned Call Centre with personnel who speak at least English, or a dedicated phone number for an office open during the day and operating in at least English, further dedicated contact information such as an email and fax will also be available.
- Assistance each contact centre will be equipped with the tools to provide assistance or the details about who to contact if you face a particular problem, will attempt to find a solution to your problem, and enable contact with your home club.
- Information the contact centre will help provide information and advice on local traffic rule, tourism and travel matters, and assist in the provision of maps and tourism publications.
There may be a number of special agreements in place with the country you are visiting, in these cases the contact centre will explain your exact entitlements.
